SCHOLARSHIPS
The Savannah Community Foundation offers the scholarship opportunities below.
The Scholarships for high school seniors graduating in 2026 will be available from February 9 through March 16.
All Post-Secondary Scholarships are also available during that time.
Be sure to complete and submit your application by the March 16, 12:00 Noon deadline.

*Annie Morgan Scholarship
This scholarship is available to members or children of members of the Thankful Baptist Church located in Savannah, GA.
​​
**Annie Morgan Scholarship Renewal
This scholarship is available to recipients who were awarded this scholarship for the previous academic year.
​​
*Boasso America Community Enrichment Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Robert Groves High School located in Garden City, GA.
​​​​
**Dixie Crystals Legacy Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship is for students enrolled in the Nursing Program on the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University in Savannah, GA, Galen School of Nursing in Savannah (Pooler), GA and the LPN/RN programs at Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, GA.

*Doris Dorsey Jones Memorial Scholarship
This $1,690 scholarship is available to all graduating seniors of high schools in Bryan, Chatham, and Effingham Counties, GA.
​​​
**Hamblen and Herrell Education Scholarship
This scholarship is for non-traditional students enrolled in classes on the Georgia Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University who have or have had challenging life experiences and desire to further or complete their education, particularly women over the age of 25 who are widowed or divorced, or who have suffered serious permanent physical or psychological disease or injury.

*Honorable Eugene Gadsden Memorial Scholarship
This four-year $1,000 scholarship is available to all graduating seniors of high schools in Chatham County, GA. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage interest in the law and public service.

**Judge Phyllis Kravitch Scholarship - Available March 3
This $2,500 scholarship is available to a rising second or third year law school student from Chatham County, GA who is continuing his/her education at an accredited school of law.

*Kay Speir Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is available to all graduating seniors in Bryan County, GA high schools. Please see your school counselor for more detailed information.

*Kiwanis Memorial Educational Foundation Scholarship Fund
This $2,000 scholarship is available to all graduating seniors from high schools in Chatham County, GA.
​​​
**Pauline L. Gooch Educational Scholarship
This scholarship is for graduates of any Georgia high school now enrolled in classes on the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University. Applicants must have a cumulative high school GPA ranking in the top quarter of their graduating high school class.

**Porter G. Pierpont Rotary Scholarship
This scholarship is for students enrolled in classes on the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University who are engaged in community service outside of the Georgia Southern University requirements.
​​​
*Rev. Bennie R. Mitchell Memorial Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is available to graduating seniors of high schools in the Savannah Chatham County Public School System.

*Savannah Area Realtors Scholarship
This scholarship is available to graduating seniors of high schools in Bryan, Chatham, and Effingham Counties, GA.

**Savannah Area Realtors Scholarship Renewal
This scholarship is available to recipients who were awarded this scholarship for the previous academic year.

*St. Francis Turner Hathaway Scholarship
This $2,000 scholarship is available to graduating seniors from high schools in Chatham County, GA.
​​​
*Windsor Forest High School Alumni Scholarship
This scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Windsor Forest High School.
​​​
